The glorious holiday that is known as Halloween is approaching once again. In many people’s opinion it’s the best holiday because you have few to no obligations other than eating as much candy as you possibly can without sending your body into toxic shock.
But you’re here on this page because you are a little concerned. You want to make sure that when you are eating your kids’ stash of candy you aren’t adding another layer of guilt by eating the candy that is the absolute worst for you. You want to make sure you are at least being conscious of what you are eating.
On the other hand, maybe you are here because you want to buy the worst candy out there and eat that candy and that candy only. Because hey, it’s Halloween – you’re allowed to “treat” yourself!
1) Airhead Minibars
There are 46 calories, 0.5g of fat and 6.3g of sugar per Airhead Minibar. Basically, these are made up of everything that is the absolute worst for you.
They contain sugar, filler carbohydrates, artificial colors, artificial flavors as well as partially hydrogenated oils (which are the source of trans fats, mmm!). In fact, three minibars contain more sugar than half a cup of Breyers French Vanilla ice cream.
So the moral is… put Airheads on TOP of your ice cream? I’m a little lost on this one.
