1. Reuben on Rye
This hot sandwich, as the name suggests, is traditionally made on rye bread. The filling is comprised of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and some type of salad dressing, such as thousand island or Russian dressing. The sandwich is usually then toasted or grilled and served hot. It can also be made with sliced meat instead of the corned beef, such as with slices of roast beef.
