Child Develops Brain Damage After Dental Work
All joking aside, even though dentist appointments might be unnerving, we will trust dentists as professionals to do their job properly. Even more so when it comes to taking our kids to the dentist.
Finley Boyle, a three-year-old girl living with her parents in Hawaii, suffered massive brain damage after a dental procedure in 2014. She died a month later in a hospice. Finley’s parents filed a lawsuit against the dentist, Lilly Geyer, who they claim administered improper medications with incorrect dosages to their daughter. This sent her into cardiac arrest, giving her permanent brain damage.
